Get involved now - new members are always welcome! Habitat for Humanity works to build affordable and decent housing for low-income families who lack adequate shelter. The UMD chapter works regularly in Baltimore, completely gutting out and rebuilding the insides of condemned houses over the course of about eighteen months. We're currently in the early phase of our 8th house.

Meetings are every Tuesday at 6:30pm in Room 2242 of HJ Patterson Hall. Come to meetings to find out everything you need to know about Habitat.

Building trips to Baltimore are every Saturday during the semester. You don't need any experience to come on one - we'll teach you everything you need to know.

Habitat holds various fundraising events to support the construction of its homes. The next upcoming event is the Run for Shelter 5K.
